Jack Curtis delivered 9 solid innings as the Milwaukee Braves defeated the San

Francisco Giants by a score of 1 to 0 at County Stadium.

 

The game was won by Milwaukee with a run in the bottom of the 8th inning.  Roy

McMillan cracked a solo homerun (his 11th of the season).  Milwaukee had just

5 hits for the afternoon.  

 

For Curtis(5-2) it was his 2nd shutout this year. Bobby Bolin(8-6) was tagged

with the loss.  He pitched 8 innings allowing 5 hits and 2 walks.
