as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Francisco Giants by a score of 7

to 2 at Candlestick Park.



San Francisco was unable to recover after Los Angeles went ahead in the top of

the 2nd inning when they scored 2 runs on 2 hits. Los Angeles finished with

Koufax(11-3) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Billy

O'Dell(9-7) was charged with the loss. He gave up 6 runs and 8 hits in 7
