Milwaukee scored 2 runs in the top of the 5th inning when they had 3 base
hits. They would hold up as the winning runs. San Francisco had a chance to
come back in the 9th but they came up short.
The victory was credited to Warren Spahn(10-6) who went 8 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Don Nottebart was credited with his 2nd save. Jack
Sanford(6-7) was tagged with the loss.
