Billy O'Dell delivered 9 solid innings as the San Francisco Giants outscored

the St. Louis Cardinals 4 to 1.

 

San Francisco jumped on top to stay in the 2nd inning scoring one runner.

After an out was recorded, Felipe Alou delivered a solo blast (his 5th of the

season).  Both teams ended up with 5 on the night.
