Don Blasingame had 4 hits and scored 3 times as the Cincinnati Reds pulled out
a win over the San Francisco Giants by a score of 7 to 5 at Riverfront
Stadium.
Cincinnati had the game winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning scoring
2 runs using 2 hits. Blasingame got things going when he smacked a single.
After an out was recorded, Frank Robinson came up and he blasted a two-run
home run (his 41st of the season) making Cincinnati the victors to the
delight of the home town faithful. Cincinnati had 14 hits overall, while San

Bobby Bolin(8-8) was the loser in relief. He allowed 2 runs and 4 hits in 2
